Cornell Women’s Network: Coffee with Cornellians in Central New Jersey – Winter 2018

Dear Alumnae:

We had a fantastic time at the Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference (CALC)  last weekend (of course we always do)!  Most importantly, CALC offers a reminder that there are many great ways to engage with Cornell, and how much fun it is to be with fellow alumni.  We encourage you to “engage†with us on March 1st!

Best wishes, Lisa and Monique

About Coffee with Cornellians:
We know that stay-at-home moms, professionals with alternative working hours, and retired alumnae cannot always fit Cornell’s evening and weekend events into their schedules.  Our mid-morning events offer opportunities for networking and intelligent conversation on relevant topics that you can drop in on after getting the kids to school, after exercise, before or after work or volunteer activities. We host three Coffee with Cornellians over the year, each including an update on Cornell today and each focusing on a topic of particular interest to alumnae in our community.  Join us!

Health and wellness inspiration you can use right away!
Photos from top left: Jamie Greubel Poser ’06 – a Princeton native – will be working to reach the Olympics bobsled medal stand once again in PyeongChang (check your schedule between 18 – 25 February).  Ruth Bader Ginsburg ’54 hits the Supreme Court gym 3x per week; Jane Brody ’64 continues as the personal health columnist  (since 1976) at The New York Times.* For our future fellow alumnae starting at Cornell this month (did you know that CALS and A&S now offer spring admission?), the swim test may be a snap but getting to Helen Newman may be even more daunting in the winter chill!
