The holidays are upon us! Please join other Big Red friends and family at this year’s holiday event. Kids are welcome as are other guests.

As former residents of chilly Ithaca, NY, we all remember what a cold winter day/night feels like. So, during our Big Red Holiday event we will be collecting new gloves and socks in all sizes for HandsNFeet Charlotte.

HandsNFeet is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to the homeless and less fortunate in the Greater Charlotte area through the small but meaningful gesture of giving gloves and socks to aid in providing warmth during the cold winter months. The battle of homelessness and the challenges our homeless neighbors face to stay warm during these months is an ongoing dilemma that we all have a vested interest in overcoming in order to maintain and foster the community we love. It is the vision of HandsNFeet to offer added warmth to thousands of people each year by giving them basic essentials such as a pair of gloves or a pair of socks that will help them to stay warm during the cold winter months and remind them that their community cares about them.
