Join the Cornell Women’s Advocacy Network (CWAN) for a meaningful morning of giving back at Catholic Charities of New York’s annual St. Nicholas Project Shopping Day!

Each holiday season, the St. Nicholas Project helps bring warmth and joy to families and individuals experiencing hardship across New York City. Volunteers will head to Old Navy Times Square to shop for winter clothing essentials and other requested items on behalf of families in need, using personalized case information and wish lists to ensure each family receives a package that addresses their specific needs. The cost of all wish list purchases will be covered by Catholic Charities; volunteers simply need to select the items.

As a volunteer, you’ll help turn the spirit of the holiday season into tangible action, one shopping bag at a time. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with fellow Cornell women who share a commitment to advocacy, community service, and making a difference in the lives of others.
