๐Ÿ“š 2X PULITZER-WINNING AUTHOR COLSON WHITEHEAD IN CONVERSATION

Friday, September 25 | 1:00–2:30 p.m.
Lighthouse Writers Workshop | Denver, 3844 York Street

The Cornell Club of Colorado is thrilled to partner with our friends at Lighthouse Writers Workshop to invite the Big Red community to a rare afternoon with one of the most celebrated writers of our time: Colson Whitehead.

Whitehead is the extraordinary author of The Underground Railroad and The Nickel Boys — becoming only the fourth writer in history to win the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction twice — as well as a National Book Award winner whose work has continually pushed the boundaries of American fiction.

For this intimate Shoptalk conversation, Whitehead will sit down with Colorado novelist and short story writer Jenny Shank for a fascinating look inside the creative process: craft, storytelling, reinvention and the private machinery behind the work.

Whether you are a devoted reader, an aspiring writer, fascinated by the creative process — or simply eager to spend an afternoon in conversation with one of the defining literary voices of our era — this promises to be something special.
