Please join us for a visit to Weir Farm National Historical Park on Friday June 26, 2026 at 10am for a guided tour by a Park Ranger. The Weir Farm National Historical Park is a National Park for Art, a place that has been inspiring artists since 1882 when America’s most beloved Impressionist, Julian Alden Weir, made this his summer home.
Today, artists and visitors of all ages come to the park to enjoy the stunning landscape including historic gardens, walk in the footsteps of American masters, and create art! Our visit will include a 45-minute to 1-hour guided tour of the Weir House and Studios to learn about the legacy of creativity started by Weir, and the three generations of artists who called Weir Farm home.
After the tour, you can stay and enjoy the park as long as you wish:
1. stop by the visitor center to view the exhibits and artwork,
2. create art in the park with the free-to-use supplies such as sketching pads, pastels and colored pencils,
3. have a picnic lunch, bring your own for ‘pack-in/pack-out’
4. enjoy a stroll through the stunning grounds and gardens, and/or
5. take a hike to Weir Pond!
