As summer reaches its peak, we look forward to one of our most meaningful Cornell Club traditions – coming together to celebrate and support the next generation of Big Red students. Our annual Student Send-Off Picnic brings alumni, current students, and families together to wish our students well as they prepare to return to campus for the fall semester.

We place a special emphasis on welcoming our incoming freshmen, helping them begin their Cornell journey with a strong sense of connection to the Northeast Ohio Cornell community. This year’s gathering at Edgewater Park promises to be especially fun, with the iconic Cleveland sign for photo ops, Lake Erie as our backdrop, and plenty of opportunities to relax, play volleyball, and enjoy classic picnic fare together.

Stop by for an hour or join us all day! We’ll be there until sundown. We hope you’ll join us in sending off our students with warmth, encouragement, and plenty of Big Red spirit.
