NYC Cornellians At the Met returns with a private, docent‑led tour designed exclusively for Cornellians. This curated experience offers a guided walk through the galleries with Met docents who bring depth, context, and expert interpretation to the artwork.

This year’s program once again features Dan Kershaw ’78, the Met’s exhibit designer responsible for building many gallery installations. Dan will provide a rare, insider‑level perspective on the creative and technical decisions behind the exhibit, including lighting, layout, spatial planning, and the curatorial considerations that shape how visitors experience the work. His extended session last year was the standout moment of the event, offering a level of access not available to the general public.

The event concludes with optional informal networking in the museum café area.
