Cornell Cares Event: At Meals on Wheels of Sarasota FL.  Meals on Wheels depends on volunteers to help keep costs down for its home delivered meals program. Help portion and pack food for delivery at our Cornell Cares event at 421 N Lime Ave, Sarasota FL 34237. The Sarasota MOW location can accommodate 15 volunteers at a time … so the Cornell Club asked for 2 sessions! One on Feb 16th and one on Feb 17th of 2026. 15 spots are available per day for members + their guests.

We’ll work from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on each day. Please select only one of two sessions. Registration opens on January 17, 2026, and closes on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

Special Note: Meals on Wheels provides nutritious meals to those who are homebound and therefore unable to obtain food or prepare it themselves. The program has a positive impact on the dietary health and overall quality of life of recipients. The program primarily serves the elderly.
