For our next luncheon, our accomplished guest speaker will be Blain Skinner, Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships and Client Management of Los Angeles Lakers.

We are honored to host Mr. Blain Skinner, who has been with LA Lakers for more than 35 years, overseeing the sponsorship deals, which is a big part of any hugely successful brand. Mr. Skinner has represented LA Lakers, one of the top sports brands in the world, in more than 200 corporate partnership deals that ultimately made him a negotiation guru. As each deal is unique in size and its negotiation, Mr. Skinner will share with us all he has learned and experienced with the LA Lakers, including some great stories of an iconic brand.

BIO:
Blain Skinner is beginning his 37th season with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is the team’s Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships & Client Management. He joined California Sports, Inc., the parent company that owned The Forum, the Lakers, Kings, Strings, Lazers, a variety of other sports and entertainment properties in 1982. In his current position, Skinner is responsible for corporate partnership sales that include the following assets: media/advertising, signage, rights & branding, digital/social/mobile, fan engagement, intellectual property, hospitality/events/VIP experiences, promotional, public and community relations. He is a charter member of Westcoast Sports Associates (WSA); an organization dedicated to influencing equal opportunities in sports for the children of Greater Los Angeles and was also a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Orange County’s Professional Services Program. Skinner received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California in 1982.
