The International Spirit of Zinck’s Night is an annual event for Cornellians around the world to celebrate Cornell.

This year, on October 16th we’ll gather locally in person at Suffolk Punch in South End.

Theodore Zinck, owner of Ithaca’s Hotel Brunswick in the 1890s, was a favorite among Cornellians.

After his death in 1903, bars in Collegetown carried his name until the last closed in the 1960s.

To honor the tradition, students began gathering annually on a Thursday night—a celebration that has since grown into a worldwide Cornell alumni event.
