Calling all farm, food and drink nerds and enthusiasts! We are excited to launch a new initiative Grain Train, that pays homage to locally farmed products and explores how the same ingredient shows up in a beverage and a food item.
This special collaboration pairs Longmont’s award-winning and innovative Dry Land Distillery with our friends at Denver’s beloved Rebel Bread!
Dry Land Distillery x Rebel Bread
**FOMO ALERT: This experience is limited to 20 people, so please sign up today to avoid missing out.
WHEN: Saturday, September 27 (3pm – 5pm)
WHERE: Dry Land Distillery // 519 Main St, Longmont, CO 80501
WHAT: Join us for a curiosity-satiating experience available exclusively to the Cornell Club. At this tour and taste program, we will take a lot at how the exact same grain varieties that are used to make Rebel’s delicious breads and pastries are carefully crafted into Dry Land’s highly-regarded spirits.
We will have a chance to tap some unreleased spirits from barrel! And the best part is we will be pairing Rebel’s delectable baked good with Dry Land’s beverages.
This 2-hour event will also include some time for hanging out and socializing at Dry Land’s exquisitely designed tasting room.
WHY: Because, we needed to name a series Grain Train and you didn’t know it but you needed to see this “Crazy Grain” Crazy Train parody video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_UlWb-mJ1Q. You’re welcome!
GA: $55
*A portion of proceeds from this event will go toward our continued enhancement of Cornell Club of Colorado programming and to ensure future events remain accessible to the diverse, vibrant, and curious 4,000+ Cornellians living in Colorado and that we can offer even more free and low-cost programming.
