“For the university to truly thrive within the framework of “…any person…any study,” the Board of Trustees must foster a safe and secure Cornell by navigating a post-pandemic landscape and responsible return to on-campus operations, promoting growth and healing, and fostering an environment for holding bold conversations about diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion with empathy, honesty, and courage.”

Additional information

A proud first-generation college graduate, A’ndrea grew up in New Jersey with family roots in dairy and crop farming. She was raised with an appreciation for hard work and life-long learning. As far back as she can remember, veterinary medicine was her calling and Cornell was “her school.” A’ndrea started volunteering in veterinary practices at age 14, and through work/study programs, balanced her career goals and educational costs. A’ndrea’s professional interests include clinical and regulatory veterinary medicine, education, and outreach. Her academic, professional, and community service experiences have led her to advocate for student debt management and mental health awareness, and she loves mentoring students and new graduates. A’ndrea enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors with her Beagle (Dr. Watson), photography, singing, tennis, and visiting Ithaca often.
