Fosters alumnae connections to Cornell by creating regional and local programs for engagement and networking among PCCW members. Cultivates a strong relationship with Cornell women faculty to provide support for initiatives that strengthen their leadership roles and voice within the Cornell community.
Members get involved in fulfilling PCCW’s mission by joining one of the council’s committees.
Alumnae & Faculty Engagement
Educates PCCW members about options for giving to Cornell and encourages them to support the PCCW endowed funds and other Cornell fundraising initiatives.
Manages the award process for the Affinito-Stewart Grants, Leadership Grants, and Microgrants, including grant review and award decisions.
Develops and coordinates opportunities for PCCW members to mentor Cornell women: undergraduate students; graduate, professional, and medical students; faculty; young alumnae; and fellow PCCW members.
Plans the major themes and structure of the annual membership meeting, which is designed to stimulate member engagement, foster connections with the university, and reflect the mission of PCCW.
