SUMMARY:Zinck's Night Mississippi 2026
DESCRIPTION:While we’re disappointed to cancel this event\, we hope to gather in Mississippi soon! If you’d like to stay engaged with the local Cornell community\, please connect with Abby Woods or Shawn Davis!\n \n\nJoin Cornell alumni\, students\, families\, and friends for Mississippi’s 2026 celebration of the International Spirit of Zinck’s Night. \nEvent Details:\nDate: Thursday\, October 15\, 2026\nTime: 6:00 -9:00pm\nLocation: SoulShine Pizza – 5352 MS-25 #1100\, Flowood\, MS 39232 \nThis is a no-host event. Food and beverages are purchased individually\, and SoulShine is happy to serve up wonderful pizza and spirits throughout the evening. \nZinck’s Night traces its history to Theodore Zinck\, an Ithaca saloon owner whose establishment became a favorite gathering place for Cornell students and alumni in the late 1800s. His name was immortalized in “Give My Regards to Davy” and its famous reference to returning to Theodore Zinck’s. Cornellians were forming Zinck Clubs as early as 1892\, while the modern Spirit of Zinck’s tradition began with Cornell seniors in 1973 and later grew into a worldwide alumni celebration held each October. \nMore than a century later\, the idea remains the same: bring Cornellians together\, reconnect with old friends\, meet new ones\, and celebrate the Big Red community. \nCome when you can\, stay as long as you like\, and join Cornellians across Mississippi in keeping the Spirit of Zinck’s alive. \nEvent Questions? Contact Abby Woods or Shawn Davis!
