Celebrate the fall season with NYC Cornellians!

On Sunday, October 19th from 12:00-3:30pm alumni of all ages, parents, students, family and friends are invited to enjoy an afternoon in Riverside Park as we turn the South Lawn red with a bring your own picnic gathering (and if you don’t feel like bringing food, you can pick it up at plenty of nearby restaurants/supermarkets- see below).

We’ll provide spike ball, frisbee golf and other activities as well as a Cornell trivia contest, poster making to cheer on the Cornell NYC Marathon team and a narrated tour along the Hudson River. Something fun for everyone.

So come on out and enjoy the afternoon with the Cornell community. Everyone is welcome.

Do’s and Don’ts (Park Rules):

• Don’t bring alcoholic beverages, tents/canopies (or anything that needs to be staked into the ground), and BBQ equipment per NYC park rules.
• Do bring your dog – but make sure they are on a leash less than six feet long – also have proof of dog license and rabies vaccination just in case.
• Do bring water, food and your favorite park games!
• Do enjoy the weather, park amenities, the playground, and the Cornell NYC community!

Ways to get There:

• Entrance is on 74th and RSD – the south lawn.  Only a few blocks from a major NYC subway station and multiple bus stops.
• The 1, 2, and 3 trains as well as M104, M7, M11, M57 stop at 72 Street/Broadway 
• The M5 bus provides the most direct access stopping at 73rd/Riverside Drive
