SUMMARY:Cornell Norcal: Pastry in the Park (SF)
DESCRIPTION:The Bay Area is famous for its artisanal bakeries and fog-kissed parks—so why not enjoy both while connecting with fellow alumni? Join us for a relaxed\, family-friendly meetup where we share croissants\, conversation\, and childcare tips & tricks while the little ones play. Select pastries will be provided\, but please feel free to bring your own snacks as desired! To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for children\, we kindly ask that pets stay at home. \nWhen: Saturday\, November 1\, 10am-12pm\nLocation: Lafayette Park\, San Francisco (Picnic Tables near the Playground) Gough St & Washington St\, San Francisco\, CA 94109 What’s included: Croissants & Coffee \nREGISTRATION \nCornell NorCal Dues Paying Members and non-members: $10 Please include\nyour family members (including children) as guest attendees during\nregistration. \nFood and drinks will be ordered for registered attendees\nonly. Tickets are non-refundable; however\, you may cancel to open up\nyour spot for someone else! Remember to wear your Cornell red! \nTransportation: By bus: The easiest way is Muni Line 1 — it drops you right at the park entrance on California Street\, just steps from the playground and picnic tables. Other nearby options are the 24 Divisadero\, 49 Van Ness/Mission\, and 27 Bryant. By car: Street parking can be tricky\, so come early. Best bets are along Sacramento\, Washington\, or Laguna Streets\, with extra options on Gough a block or two away. Enter on California or Sacramento & Laguna and you’ll be right by the playground where we’ll be set up at the picnic tables. \nQuestions? Contact Grace Leniski ’15
