Event Details

Come see excerpts of five brand-new musicals (~15 minutes of each musical) presented by the Foundation of New American Musicals at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood.

The work of Kim Bixler ’91—Cornell Government major turned musical theater writer—will be featured as part of the event. After working for decades as a part-time bookkeeper, mother of two, tireless Cornell volunteer and Frank Lloyd Wright author, Kim decided to go back to school, attending NYU Tisch’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at aged 52. After a two+ year stint in NYC, Kim and her husband Tim (Cornell Law ’93) are back in SoCal and the Hollywood Hills are alive with the sound of Kim’s music(al).
