SUMMARY:Central Park Trees - 10.25.2025 (Session 2 @ 2:00 PM)
DESCRIPTION:Join Carey Russell\, founder of Dendro Lab NYC\, for a two-hour walking tour through Central Park exploring its remarkable tree diversity. Learn how trees function\, adapt\, and contribute to the park’s history. \nCarey’s walks are one of the most popular Cornell events of the fall.  You’ll never look at a park or forest the same way again. \nEvent Details:\nDate: Saturday 10/25/2025 \nSession 2: The Conifers (2:00pm – 4:00pm)\nDescription: Conifers are a fascinating group of cone-bearing trees (pine\, spruce\, fir) that have  secrets buried deep in geologic time. Each species comes from a distinct and much older lineage of trees than their “newcomer“ counterpart\, the broadleaf trees.\nLocation: Meet at Le Pan Quotidien by Sheep Meadow (2 W 69th Street)\nCost: $25.00 \nWe can’t wait to see you there!  \nEvent Questions?
