DESCRIPTION:Register for this event \nAll Cornellians and their guests are invited to join the Cornell Club of the Greater Capital District for its annual meeting. \nThe guest speaker\, Mark Whitmore\, is Director of the New York State Hemlock Initiative and Senior Extension Associate\, Natural Resources and Environment Section. \nMark will discuss the continuing battle against hemlock woolly adelgid and his research on the biology and ecology of predators released for classical biological control of this invasive pest. \nDate: Wednesday\, May 20\nTime: 5:30-8:30 P.M.\nLocation: Fort Orange Club | 110 Washington Avenue\, Albany\, New York 12210\nCost: $50 General Fee | $40 Young Alumni Fee (2016-2025) \nThe Fort Orange Club has a “business casual” dress code. “Business Casual” is defined as a collared shirt (no untucked shirts) and pressed slacks for men and comparable attire for women. Not permitted: t-shirts\, sneakers\, untucked shirts\, athletic wear and flip flops\, spandex\, shorts\, open midriffs\, halter tops\, leggings\, and extremely short hemlines.
