SUMMARY:CCEF: Zinck's Night Palm Beach Gardens
DESCRIPTION:  \nYou may be thousands of miles from Cornell\, but on Thursday\, October 15\, you can feel just steps away from the hill by attending this year’s Spirit of Zinck’s event in Palm Beach Gardens. This event is planned by the Cornell Club of Eastern Florida. \n\nThis year we will gather together amidst a most difficult time for Cornellians. Zinck’s Night gives us a chance to come together to support one another and all members of our Cornell community. Whether you graduated decades ago or just last spring\, we hope you’ll join us. \n$0 Registration fee. Food and Beverage is available for purchase. \nAbout Zinck’s Night: Theodore Zinck was a saloonkeeper in Ithaca and his pub\, the Hotel Brunswick\, was a popular gathering place for Cornellians in the 1890s. After his death in 1903\, several bars using his name continued to provide a haven for students. When the last “Zinck’s” closed in the mid-60s\, celebrating the spirit of Zinck’s became a favorite Thursday night Collegetown tradition of undergraduates. It wasn’t long afterwards that Cornellians continued the tradition in their hometowns. This year\, alumni will celebrate this uniquely Cornell event in more than 90 cities around the world. \n**Finding Tommy Bahama Restaurant: There is an exterior entrance. It is in the upper level parking lot behind the Gardens Mall (if you go past Nordstrom and before you hit Saks Fifth it is up there). Also google “Janie and Jack” (instead of Tommy Bahama)\, this will take you to a more precise location. \nEvent Details:\nDate: Thursday\, October 15\, 2026\nTime: 6:00 – 8:00pm\nLocation: Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Marlin Bar\, 3101 PGA Blvd\, Space 205 (The Gardens Mall)\, Palm Beach Gardens\, FL 33410 \nQuestions?
