SUMMARY:CC of Colorado: A Late Summer Soir | An Evening at the Swomleys’
DESCRIPTION:Event has reached capacity.   \nA LATE SUMMER SOIRÉE \nAn extraordinary evening of food\, wine\, artful entertaining and deeply meaningful connection. \nThursday\, September 17 | 6–9 PM\nThe Swomley Residence | Greenwood Village\, CO\n$50 per person | Just 40 spots \nSome evenings are simply worth the drive. \nCornell alumna Elaine Swomley and her husband\, Richard\, are opening their exquisite Greenwood Village home for what we hope will become a beloved new Colorado Cornell tradition: The Late Summer Soirée.\nAnd trust us: this is one you do not want to miss. \nElaine and Richard — an iconic Colorado real estate power couple and two of the most gracious\, consummate hosts we know — have created a home that feels almost museum-like in its curation: beautiful\, personal\, unexpected and made for gathering. \nFor one September evening\, it will be Cornell Colorado chic. Stimulating ideas\, engaging conversation and celebrating a historic summer of connection. \nWeather permitting\, we’ll gather in the Swomleys’ gorgeous garden for a beautiful culinary experience with dinner\, wine\, drinks and zero-proof options included\, surrounded by fellow Cornellians from across generations and across Colorado. \nAnd one more perk: \nGuests of the Late Summer Soirée will receive first\, advance access to tickets for our Holiday Soirée — before they are released to the broader Cornell community. Like our Spring Soirée\, this is your opportunity to get to the front of the line for an event that sold out last year.\nAn effortlessly\, elegant summer dinner party you simply don’t want to miss! \nA little glamorous.\nA lot of fun.\nAnd unmistakably Cornell. \nAfter a historic summer of growth\, adventure and connection for the Cornell Club of Colorado\, we can think of no better way to cap the season — together\, around a table\, in a remarkable setting. \nBring a date. Bring your family. Come on your own. \nDress up a little. Stay awhile. Meet someone unexpected. \nExtraordinary memories await — and we suspect\, the kinds of stories you’ll still be telling years from now. \nWe’ll see you at the Swomleys’. ❤️🐻
