Event Details

Join the Cornell Club of Fairfield County and your fellow Cornellians for an inspiring evening featuring Cornell engineer, Olympic rower, and Peloton instructor, Alex Karwoski ’12.

With our moderator, Chris Massey ’13, we’ll discover how Alex’s Cornell Engineering and Athletics experience led to competing at the 2016 Rio Olympics, assistant coaching for Cornell heavyweight men’s rowing, and eventually, to becoming one of Peloton’s beloved and dynamic instructors. Come hear his stories of perseverance, reinvention, and the drive—both in and out of the gym.

Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast, a Cornellian curious about where your degree might take you, or simply interested in hearing a compelling story of an incredible alumnus, this is an evening you won’t want to miss.

Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited—please RSVP early to secure your spot.

When it became clear Rio wasn’t calling—and my bank account wasn’t either—I pivoted into software sales. I started at a D.C. startup, worked my way up, and eventually joined Tableau Software (just before Salesforce acquired it). Today, I’m a Regional Sales Director at Salesforce, leading a team that covers the Financial Services industry across the Eastern U.S.
