Who’s Ready to Get This Party Started? The Cornell Club of Greater Philadelphia sure is!

Get ready to kick off CALC Philly-Style with ‘Back to School Night’ at McGillin’s — owned and operated by Chris Mullins (CHS ’97). In partnership with the Amateur Golf Society, owned by Dan Hershberg (A&S ’06), we’re taking over the entire second floor of McGillin’s so you can mix & mingle with your fellow alumni before the conference begins. The drinks will be flowing during a 3-hour-long open bar, including local, Cornellian-owned craft beers!

In addition to the open bar, this event will include delicious food, featuring McGillin’s world-famous hot roast beef, meatballs, and piping hot penne pasta, as well as a vegan salad option.

Come for the food, stay for the fun, and get pumped for the conference ahead. This is your chance to let loose before we dive into the next day’s events! The Philly Club Sure Is!

Chris Mullins Bio:
Christopher Mullins Jr. graduated from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, now the Nolan School of Hotel Administration, in 1997. Before becoming the third generation of his family to run the historic McGillin’s tavern in 2006, Christopher honed his skills at Aramark where he worked at Baltimore’s Camden Yards, Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, and lastly, Philadelphia’s esteemed Union League as the Assistant General manager. Christopher has been featured in a national TV commercial for Modelo, served as president and long-time board member of Midtown Village Association, and sits on Philadelphia’s Nighttime Economy Advisory Council.

Dan Hershberg Bio:
A Philadelphia-born and bred entrepreneur, Dan is the Founder and CEO of the Amateur Golf Society (AGS). Dan has been the creative visionary behind four companies in the last 15 years, including two sports apparel brands and Workhorse Brewing, a craft brewery, in addition to the Amateur Golf Society. Dan is also a proud husband and father of two daughters, Rosie (7) and Eva (4), a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan and an avid home cook.
