The feline-centered artificial intelligence chatbot was created by experts at the College of Veterinary Medicine. Are some plants toxic to felines?&#8221;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAI has the potential to do a lot of good\u2014and a big way to do that is education,\u201d says Bruce Kornreich, DVM \u201992, PhD \u201905, director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vet.cornell.edu\/departments-centers-and-institutes\/cornell-feline-health-center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cornell Feline Health Center<\/a>, which created <a href=\"https:\/\/chatgpt.com\/g\/g-NDDXC050T-catgpt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CatGPT<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere is so much information available both to healthcare professionals and to the general public that it can get overwhelming. Some 15% of queries come from DVMs or licensed veterinary technicians\u2014on such topics as protocols for infection outbreaks in hospitals and ways to handle procedure complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We want to reach as many people as we possibly can and help educate the public.
