Subtitled A Survivor’s Report from the Frigid Fifties to the #MeToo Movement<\/em>, this memoir<\/a>\u2014dedicated, by first name, to dozens of women he\u2019s known over the decades\u2014recalls the social, romantic, and carnal exploits of the travel author and former Playboy<\/em> editor. It includes chapters on events on the Hill in the \u201950s that, Podell says, sparked a revolt that ultimately led to the end of in loco parentis<\/em> rules about undergrad behavior. Podell\u2019s previous books include The Survival Guide for the Adventurous International Traveler<\/em> and the New York Times<\/em> bestseller Around the World in 50 Years<\/em>, which chronicled his successful effort to visit every country on Earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
