  • Major Gifts Officer to join the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS AAD) team in Ithaca, New York. The Major Gifts Officer (MGO) is a front-line fundraising professional responsible for strategically managing the relationships of approximately 100 prospect households comprised of alumni, parents and friends, who have a giving potential of $250K or more. We are looking for someone who excited about joining a tight-knit team who is passionate about driving the success of CALS.

  • Major Gifts Officer to join the Law School team in Ithaca, New York. The Major Gifts Officer (MGO) is a front-line fundraising professional responsible for strategically managing the relationships of approximately 100 prospect households comprised of alumni, parents and friends, who have a giving potential of $250K or more. Led by a dynamic new dean with a deep commitment to development, Cornell Law School ranks in the top tier of American legal education and is widely-recognized a go-to school for those seeking jobs in elite firms upon graduation and who aspire to significant careers in many areas of the legal profession.

  • Based on the Ithaca campus, the Assistant Director, Annual Giving has the important role of implementing and leading a strategic annual giving fundraising program for alumni, parents, and community members. This impact of this position is shown through the development and execution of a multichannel annual giving strategy, which includes direct mail, audience segmentation, email and personal solicitations, crowdfunding, and social media approaches that increase dollars and donors for Human Ecology. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, innovative, strategic, and intellectually curious thinker who has a demonstrated track record of driving and inspiring a culture of giving within and external to Cornell.

  • Reporting to the director of discovery, the regional gift officer is integral to growing the number of qualified prospects who can support Cornell at the major gifts level by meeting with a high number of new prospects each year and soliciting leadership gifts and pledges. The regional gift officer primarily works with U.S.-based alumni, friends, and parents. Primary performance goals include number of discovery meetings, nominations to major gifts, and new gifts and commitments. We are currently hiring 3 regional gift officers to join our Ithaca team.

  • We are looking for an energetic and intellectually curious fundraiser to join our team as a Parent Giving Officer. Based on the stunning Ithaca campus, this role offers the opportunity to fundraise from the families of Cornell‚Äôs 14,000 undergraduate students as part of Cornell‚Äôs To Do the Greatest Good $5 billion campaign. The primary objective of this position is to secure and renew major gift commitments from current parents, especially non-alumni current parents. Success of this position will be assessed based on number of solicitations, dollars raised from new gifts, and renewal/increases of prior-year commitments.

  • The Major Gift Officer will join a cohesive, forward-looking, and highly-motivated team of seasoned University Major Gift Officers, responsible for securing significant six and seven figure gifts from alumni, parents and friends in the context of Cornell‚Äôs ongoing $5 billion To Do the Greatest Good capital campaign.   • In partnership with the Associate Dean, the Director of Development is responsible for the strategic management of a comprehensive development program which executes on the dean‚Äôs and university‚Äôs strategic philanthropic priorities. The Director of Development will play a central role in driving success in the campaign as the college approaches a $65M annual run-rate. They will be a vital collaborator with faculty, college leadership, and university gift officers. The Director also manages and mentors a cohesive, dedicated development team of four Major Gift Officers and one Major Gifts Associate who raise $20M annually. The Director serves on the Associate Dean‚Äôs leadership team alongside the Director of Alumni Engagement, and the Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations.
